Spirits of '76, a Liquor Store in Wamego, KS asked us to make a set of Gift Cards that could be purchased at their store. These cards needed to work with the register system that they had in place. So I had to do a little research to make sure the bar code on the back scanned correctly into their system. I also did some research to ensure that all proper legal disclaimers were listed on the back.
The design and attitude needed to match their current branding style. So I came up with some tongue-in-cheek sayings that they loved. My favorite being "Don't Spend it All on Beer, Buy Whiskey it Lasts Longer.", which is something my Great Grandmother told me after forcing me to accept payment for a project I helped her with.
